DESCRIPTION: Height up to 12 inches. An attractive introduction originally from South Africa this fleshy leaved species needs constant attention so as not to drive out native species. The showy flowers are primarily pink and over 4 inches wide. DISTRIBUTION: Southern England, Scillies, Devon and Cornwall. HABITAT: Coastal cliffs. FLOWERING TIME: May to September. |
